Sync what your team needs.

Bring any folder from your cloud storage into a workspace, and your teammates can do the same from their own accounts. Everyone in the workspace works from the same files, whichever cloud account those files came from.

  • Attach any folder from a connected cloud storage account to any folder in your workspace
  • Teammates can connect folders from their own accounts to the same workspace folder tree
  • Nested subfolders come across with the hierarchy intact

Workspace access

Access is controlled at the workspace level.

Who can open a synced folder comes down to who is in the workspace. Add someone and they can work with everything in it, including the folders a teammate connected from their own cloud account. Remove them and that access ends everywhere at once.

  • One member list decides who can open everything in the workspace
  • Folders a teammate connected follow the same rule as your own
  • No per-folder permissions to set up, audit, or forget about
Sync direction

Choose read-only or two-way sync.

Direction is a setting on each connected folder, not a mode you pick once for everything. Read-only pulls changes down from the source and never writes back, which makes the Fastio copy a live mirror. Two-way keeps both sides matching: a file added in Fastio turns up in Box, and a file added in Box turns up in Fastio.

  • Read-only for sources you want to mirror, not modify
  • Two-way for folders both sides are actively working in
  • Pause syncing on any folder without disconnecting it

Ripley, Claude, ChatGPT

Ready for every agent.

Everything your team syncs lands in one workspace as real files, not links, so an agent can work across all of it at once. Ripley is built in and reads a folder from Dropbox the same way it reads anything you uploaded. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any other MCP client and it gets the same access.

  • Ripley searches and answers across every synced folder at once
  • Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client to the same workspace
  • Agents work on the Fastio copy, not on anyone's cloud account

Cloud sync

Sync that fits your folder structure

Most cloud sync hands you one folder and expects your work to reorganize around it. A synced folder goes where the work already lives.

Connect multiple accounts

Each teammate connects their own cloud account. Folders from different accounts can sit together in the same workspace without sharing source credentials.

Mix providers in one tree

A Dropbox folder and a Box folder can sit side by side under the same parent. Fastio does not care who owns the source.

One place for access

Everyone in the workspace can open every synced folder in it, including the ones a teammate connected. Membership is the only list you keep current.

Real files, not links

Synced files are copied into Fastio. Preview, search, sharing, and permissions behave exactly as they do for anything you upload.

Status you can act on

Every folder reports for itself: synced, syncing, paused, or needs attention, along with the time of its next check. Pause one without removing it.

Disconnect anytime

Disconnect a source and its files stay in Fastio as an ordinary folder. They simply stop syncing. Nothing to export, nothing to rescue.

Common questions, answered.

How does Cloud Sync work?

You connect a cloud account, choose a folder in it, and choose where that folder should sit in your Fastio workspace. From then on Fastio keeps the two in step on a recurring schedule instead of doing a single one-time copy.

How is this different from Cloud Import?

Cloud Import is a one-time transfer: you choose what to bring over, Fastio copies it, and that is the end of it. Cloud Sync keeps running. New and changed files at the source keep arriving, and on a two-way connection, changes made in Fastio travel back the other way.

Which services can I sync from?

Dropbox, OneDrive, and Box, through a connected account. You can connect several accounts and sync folders from all of them into the same workspace. Google Drive imports are available today, with Drive sync coming soon.

Can a synced folder go anywhere in my workspace?

Yes. Any folder in any workspace you can write to can be the destination. External folders sit inside the structure your team already built rather than in one dedicated sync folder off to the side.

Who can see a folder I sync?

Everyone in the workspace the folder sits in. Access follows workspace membership rather than per-folder permissions, so adding someone to the workspace gives them the folder and removing them takes it away. Your connected cloud account stays yours: teammates work with the copy in Fastio without getting access to your Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Box account.

What is the difference between read-only and two-way?

Read-only pulls changes from the source into Fastio and leaves the source alone, which makes the Fastio copy a live mirror. Two-way carries changes in both directions, so a file added or edited on either side shows up on the other.

Can teammates connect their own cloud accounts?

Yes. Connections use per-user OAuth, so each teammate connects their own Dropbox, OneDrive, or Box account. The workspace receives the synced files without exposing that teammate's source-account credentials.

What happens if I disconnect a synced folder?

The files stay in Fastio. The folder loses its sync status and its cloud indicator, and from then on it behaves like any other folder in the workspace.

Background

Sync what your team needs.

Connect a Dropbox, OneDrive, or Box folder and it stays in step with your workspace. Start a 14-day trial, or book a demo and let us help you plan your first sync.

The trial lasts 14 days and requires a card. Plans start at $29 a month. A real person can help with setup.
